| Moon Festival |

The Moon Festival, also known as the Mid-autumn Festival, is celebrated on the 15th of the 8th lunar month. The festival is deeply imbedded in traditional festivals for man Asian cultures. It is a time for family reunion, and celebration.
Traditionally on this day, family members and friends will gather to admire the bright mid-autumn harvest moon, and eat moon cakes together, Accompanied by a celebration, with games, dancing, and even a lantern show.

International Students recently celebrated the Moon Festival at Strathfield South High School. This occasion provided the opportunity to share in the cultural celebrations as well as have some fun and time off from class.
