Students from year 9 and 11 music have developed their own record label online called 'South Side Records'. This label is featured on a website that showcases music from schools all around the world. All students in the elective music program have got their own artist profile page where they post recordings done in class and update a blog with information on their progress. Some of our artists/students have done so well that they have been featured in the top ten most listened to tracks online, with one recording having been listened to by over 900 people to date!

The site allows students to share their music with a wider audience and to get a real sense of what it is to be a recording artist. Everything has been created by the students, including the logo shown below.
